Studio update #2:
First of all we want to say thank you to everyone that contributed to our Kickstarter; it was an immense help and the fact that we exceeded our goal is more than humbling. We nearly raised $3000 with your donations and we cannot begin to explain how thankful we are to each and every single one of you. We are getting the prizes squared away and everyone that donated can expect them to start shipping out in early summer (once the album is done being mastered.)
Secondly, another huge thank you is in order for everyone who voted for us in the Rocco’s Live Music nights contest. We did not win the grand prize but we were very happy to have participated and so thankful for the support from all of you.
As for what is going on in the studio, currently we are finishing up the 1st two songs off our next (still untitled) EP but tomorrow we go in for pre-production on the final 3 songs. Expect them to rock a lot harder than the songs off Beneath the Trees. Any suggestions on what to call it?
More studio updates and some pics and videos from the studio coming this week. Have a good night everyone!

Seemed appropriate to post the first real studio blog on Friday the 13th.
After a whirlwind month of march (touring, writing, and kickstarting — oh my! [said as George Takei]) we’ve finally entered the studio.
We started pre-production with the amazing Erik Ron (I the Mighty/Beta State/Awaken the Empire) on Monday. Over the next few days, we tracked drums, guitars, bass, and now were at lead vocals. Already, I can tell that this is another level for us. It really feels like something new and the excitement is permeating through the walls. We’re as giddy as a pack of proper schoolgirls.
And of course, there’s Madden, the studio pug.
I can say personally, that one of the most exciting parts of this so far is seekng/hearing Chris and Eddie. They have both come so far and grown so much as musicians. I am continuously impressed by their sheer talent, and consider myself lucky to be in a band with these four other dudes.
I really can’t wait for everyone to hear this stuff! More updates soon!
